Our Cause

Joseph Giordano - a local leader and resident of Blue Dasher who was advocating for the speed mitigation and safety of Blue Dasher, Langford and Summerlyn Trail has assembled this event for the following:

Community Togetherness.
Getting to know your neighbours is one of the most effective ways to prevent crime, reduce speeding and having greater support networks for our families... and have some community fun.

Helping a Neighbour
It’s been a rollercoaster of a year for the MacIsaac family after 15-year-old Daleyn was diagnosed with ANCA vasculitis, a rare autoimmune disease attacking her lungs and kidneys, in summer 2019.

Between daily trips to Sick Kids hospital and medication, the costs associated with the illness have become too heavy of a burden for the family and they are reaching out to the community once again for help.

“Without this medication, my daughter will die,” explained Minerva. The family has private insurance, but the costs are not fully covered. Some are not covered.

All Proceeds of this event will go directly to helping reach the Go Fund Me goals for this family and our neighbour.
